ZAI LAB SPACE
ZAI LAB is housed in Dafudi, located at the heart of Shenzhen’s Nanshan Kexing Science Park. Surrounded by AI companies, technology startups, and creative teams, the site sits within one of Shenzhen’s most active innovation districts and receives approximately 60,000 visitors each day. Originally located in Jiangxi Province, this traditional Gan-style building dates back to the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. Every brick, tile, stone, and timber was carefully dismantled and faithfully reassembled, with the entire relocation and restoration process taking three years to complete.
As a historic Chinese building, Dafudi serves as a vessel for cultural memory. When this memory encounters digital art and its visions of the future, the juxtaposition of past and present creates a dialogue across time. This encounter between past and future offers a distinctive setting for the exhibition, creating unique opportunities for emerging artists to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and experimentation.
The exhibition space locates in the back courtyard, equipping with a 2.85*2.3m LED screen. The space can accommodate a range of digital formats. Beyond exhibitions, the space can also host artist talks, workshops, creating a platform for dialogue between art, technology, and contemporary culture.

大夫第来自中国清代康熙年间的赣派古建筑，原址位于中国江西。这里的一砖一瓦、一石一木皆按照原样拆解，并严格逐一复原，整座建筑历时三年完成搬迁。
如今，这座建筑坐落于高楼林立的南山科技园。园区聚集大量AI企业与创新团队，约六万自然流量，为青年艺术家创造跨领域合作和实验机会。大夫第作为中国历史建筑所承载的文化记忆，可以与AI数字艺术所探讨的未来想象形成跨时空的对话，为展品赋予更丰富的叙事层次。 一个季度的展览可触达科技园日常办公人群、企业访客及行业活动参与者，为艺术家提供持续曝光机会 。
策展空间位于大夫第后厅，后厅配置约2.85×2.3米LED数字屏幕和音响设备，可支持数字影像、实时生成艺术和VR体验等多种展示形式。 该空间既适合沉浸式数字艺术展，也可举办Artist Talk、作品发布、Workshop及跨界交流活动。
